The selection of schools for the Paralympic school days starts now

Part of the 2019 Ostrava para hockey WCH is an educational program, which involves the University of Ostrava and the Palacky University in Olomouc. The aim of this program is to support activities that will help pupils and students understand the normal and sporting lives of the disabled. Schools participating in this project will also become active fans of WCH teams.

“We are surprised by the great interest from the schools in Ostrava which are looking forward to the Paralympic School Day. And what makes our organizing team the most delighted is that there are schools that joined this project ten years ago, when the last hockey WCH was held in the Czech Republic in Ostrava. Teachers, students and their parents are recalling the event til this day, and we hope that local schools will enjoy this year as well. We are looking forward to it, “said Eva Dawson, head of Ostrava 2019 Para Hockey WCH education programs.
