Ostravar Arena is one of the largest and most modern multipurpose halls in the Czech Republic. With its capacity of up to 12,500 spectators, modern technical equipment, the flexibility of internal layout and the spread of the services provided, it offers the perfect background even for the most demanding events.
The hall was opened in 1986, undergoing expensive reconstruction in 2003 and 2004 and bears the name Ostravar Aréna from 2016. During its existence, the arena hosted the world’s most prestigious sporting events, such as the Ice Hockey World Championships, the Fed Cup and the Davis Cup, or concerts of world-renowned music stars such as Sting and Peter Gabriel.
