How to get to Ostrava
By airplane
Leoš Janáček International Airport is located approximately 25 km from the center of Ostrava. Currently, the airport provides direct access to London-Stansted airports. Ostrava lies directly on the main railway corridor. How to get to the arena
City public transport
Ostravar Arena is located in the Vitkovice district and is easily accessible by public transport. Tram lines 2, 3, 7, 11 stop directly at Ostravar Arena at the barrier-free SPORT ARENA stop. Tram lines 12 and 17 stop at the nearby stops Dolní or Tylova on Plzeňská street. These stops are not barrier-free. By car
For arriving by car from the direction of the D1 motorway (Olomouc – Bohumín / PL), Havířov, Frýdek Místek, it is best to use the route along Rudna / Zavodni Street. Main parking areas around Ostravar Areas are accessible from Zavodni Street, GPS coordinates: 49.8044550N, 18.2512036E.
